Background

Do you need to facilitate groups more effectively? Do you need more productivity in your meetings? Do you want to focus your group's energy on a common goal? Do you want to create a feeling of good teamwork and improve staff morale? In order to answer YES to these questions then you need to be, or provide, effective FACILITATORS within your organisation.

Organisations are increasingly using facilitated workshops to improve the effectiveness of making key decisions. It should be noted that within a RAD environment, an effective facilitator is essential in the running of Joint Application Development (JAD) workshops.

In short, facilitation is a personal skill, which is becoming a necessity in many of today's organisations.

Who should attend?

This workshop is intended for all those who are likely to conduct a workshop as a facilitator, or who will manage the development of facilitators within an organisation. It will be of particular interest to those in IT including project managers, software development managers, team leaders, business analysts, and senior users. It is also appropriate to business managers who may be required to facilitate a workshop to address a business concern.
