Software & Systems Conference
The Software & Systems Conference, organised by SQC Conferences will he held in the Irish Management Institute, Dublin 18, on 5 March 2008. See brochure at http://www.sqs-conferences.com/ire/index.htm Michael O’Duffy of the CSE will present on the new ISO25000 designated (SQuaRE) standard for software product quality and how it will influence future approaches to quality. The CSE has previously organised conferences in other aspects of quality, relating to software product quality and software process quality. This conference will focus especially on software testing.

Agile Software Development Perspectives: Coming To Terms with Agile

The Irish Computer Society (ICS) is presenting a series of four seminars in Agile Development as part of its Software Developers’ Network. The seminars are presented in conjunction with the Centre for Software Engineering (CSE). Creating an Early Innovation Environment

A programme on this topic consisting of 5 workshops and supported by company visits is commencing on 28th August and ending on 18th October 2005. The cost of company participation in the programme is Euro 1,200. Certain companies may avail of grant aid towards that cost. Each participating company is encouraged to initiate an innovation during the programme. This endeavour will be supported to foster its development. get more details>>

 
Rapidly Enabling and Accelerating Change (REACH) - Software Process Improvement the Easy Way

CSE will soon be running their Process Improvement programme known as REACH. This is a training and mentoring programme specifically designed to help organisations improve their management of software development. The programme is based on the CMMI® and consists of nine one-day workshops over a six-month period, commencing end of July 2005. Each workshop will address a key area of process improvement and also individual mentoring to assist each participating organisation in the actual implementation of a successful process improvement programme. get programme details>>

 
ISEB Practitioner Certificate Course in Software Testing 

We are pleased to announce that this will be delivered at the Centre for Software Engineering, commencing October 2005. This is a 10 day event consisting of nine training days, run over three 3-day modules with 1-day for the exam. more details>>
